Anyone who has been to Costco knows how amazing their prices can be — whether you are looking for your next computer, buying household items in bulk, or even looking to try out a new flooring trend in your home. If you are a Costco member and you are looking to purchase different flooring, you will more than likely be able to save a good chunk of change at Costco. When looking at the retailer’s vinyl flooring options, for example, you have some great options, specifically from Mohawk Home.

The Mohawk Home 12MM Thick Laminate Wood Plank Flooring has great reviews on Costco’s website, with one reviewer saying, “Very good quality, nice color, price is reasonable [compared] to other places for the same brand…” This flooring comes in two different color options, a dark and light oak, and has a lifetime limited residential warranty, as well as a 10-year light commercial warranty.

This flooring is exclusive to Costco, however, Lowe’s and Home Depot do offer flooring that is similar. While this is a good price for the amount of flooring it is, it is still more expensive than Costco’s flooring. It is also 6 millimeters thick instead of 12 millimeters thick.

Home Depot offers the same flooring as Lowe’s, and you can purchase it at a much lower quantity. At Home Depot, the Mowhawk Elite Sand Cloud Click Lock Waterproof Lux Vinyl Plank Flooring is available in 10 colors, and one case covers 28.63 square feet. This means you would pay $3.31 per square foot (or a total of $94.76 per case). Home Depot does, however, offer you the option to calculate how much flooring you might need based on your square footage or the length and width of your room, so it could be useful to utilize the tool on the brand’s website to help you determine how much flooring you will need, even if you ultimately decide to head to Costco for the better deal.
