Beaver chews through tree limb: close up footage: See how beavers do it!
( EDITOR’S NOTE: If you want to see what happened just before this video; and see how the tree ended up on its side; watch this video link: • Beaver chews down tree in forest; tri… ). I was in the right place at the right time to film this wild beaver chewing a chunk off of a fallen tree trunk. I tried to get in very close to provide a real up-close look at how they do this.
I like how the beaver runs off when the other guy comes. “Who’s this guy Mike ? He wasn’t a part of the agreement.”.
The sounds of those razor sharp teeth through wood is so relaxing. There are many beavers where I live and I never stop being impressed by their tree felling skills. They just about always gets the tree to fall where they want it to, and that is some serious skill doing that with your teeth. I´ve seen pretty massive trees downed by beavers, and they all fell right into the lake or stream.
I love how many cool “skills” and traits these adorable beavers have. They’re smart, great swimmers (multiple anatomical features makes them great swimmers), expert builders, workaholics, have crazy chewing skills, and fun fact: beavers continue to grow in size their entire lives!
