“With Love, Meghan” is getting a second season despite criticism.
Meghan Markle’s lifestyle show has been renewed for another season, which already began filming in January and will premiere in the fall, The Post reported Friday.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, also took to her Instagram Stories to celebrate the news, captioning a video of herself dancing excitedly, “Lettuce romaine calm … or not (!) because I’m so thrilled to share that Season 2 of ‘With Love, Meghan’ is coming!”
The news comes just three days after “With Love, Meghan” debuted on Netflix and quickly became one of its top 10 shows.
The series, which was initially meant to premiere in January, has received mixed reviews.
In the UK, critics called the show “pointless” and “an exercise in narcissism,” with Daily Mail columnist Amanda Platell calling it “so awful it is almost compelling.”
Meanwhile, the Guardian writer Stuart Heritage dubbed the project “so pointless it might be the Sussexes’ last TV show,” referring to Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, who has also worked with Netflix.
The Independent’s Katie Rosseinsky called Markle’s TV presence “queasy and exhausting,” while the Telegraph’s Anita Singh said the duchess did not seem to have any real skills in the kitchen.
