Alice Munro - May 13

Dennis Thompson - May 8
American musician, known for his role as the drummer for the American rock band MC5 (Motor City Five). MC5 was a prominent band in the late 1960s and early 1970s, known for their high-energy performances and politically charged lyrics. Thompson's drumming style was a key element of the band's sound, which blended rock, blues, and proto-punk influences. MC5 was influential in the development of punk rock and other forms of alternative music. American professional baseball third baseman who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Minnesota Twins. He won a gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. Burroughs collapsed and died while coaching his son in a Long Beach Little League game. He was 43 years old.
