Beast jumps on cars and devours plant pots during half-hour wrecking spree when he's barred from shop
A RAMPAGING goat caused havoc after it attacked a pensioner when it was barred from entering a shop.
The angry animal charged towards an OAP named Billy, jumped on cars and devoured plant pots during a half-hour wrecking spree.
Shop manager Jonathan Smyth, said he initially mistook the sound of the goat head-butting the window for a bread delivery.
He said: "I thought it was the bread man but when I turned around I just saw this massive goat standing on its two hind legs.
"It seemed like it wanted to come into the shop and was looking straight at me."
The incident happened at a Eurospar in the Co Antrim town of Carrickfergus early on Saturday morning.
The manager described how the goat ran amok outside, eating flower baskets and frightening staff and customers as they tried to get into the building on Victoria Road.
